Welcome to Young Generation & Professional National (YGPN)!

We are a branch of the Association of Korean Canadian Scientists and Engineers (AKCSE), a non-profit professional organization founded in 1986 which has grown to over 3,000 registered members with 11 Local Chapters, 17 School Chapters, and 8 Young Professional Societies. As YGPN, we are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community of students and young professionals of Korean heritage in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

YGPN is committed to empowering Korean Canadians in STEM by providing resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Our mission is to bridge cultural divides and promote equal representation in STEM.

The YGP community unites Korean Canadian students and young professionals in Canada through nationwide university and local chapters.  Join us in building a strong, healthy, supportive network that help
bridge generations.

YGPN INITIATIVES

Our initiatives engage and inspire Korean Canadians in STEM, offering diverse events and programs to help foster connections, celebrate heritage, and support the personal and professional growth of the YGP network.
